Version 2.0 of Mobile Stogie is out now! Version 2.0 adds a much needed and requested search feature, allowing you to search the reference section as well as your own inventory. The reference section has also been cleaned up a bit and now includes segments for regional releases, limited releases and discontinued cigars. Some background code in the app has also been updated to fix some bugs and enhance performance.
Features:
- Reference section now contains over 3500 cigars.
- Easy data entry with picklists to speed addition of new cigars, and for adding your own collection with minimal typing.
- One click web search for information on selected cigar.
- Ring gauge tool. An on screen indicator and slider lets you accurately determine the size of your smoke. (Please, do this BEFORE lighting the cigar!)
- "Live Update" feature lets you grab new cigar data(if available) any place you have an internet/cell connection
- "Random Smoke" ability now lets you shake your device to randomly select a cigar from your inventory.
Reference information:
- Brand, Name, Origin, Shape, Length and Ring Gauge.
- Vitola for cuban cigars;
- Binder, Filler and Wrapper for non-cuban.
- Indicators for Limited Edition, Regional Edition or Discontinued cigars.
Manage your personal collection in My Cigars:
- Create multiple humidors.
- Keep a Wish List of cigars that you'd like to try.
- Track Quantity, Year, Date Acquired, Acquired From, Box Code.
- Includes fields to add your personal rating and notes.
- Email custom selected information about your cigar inventory.
- Inventory can be viewed by humidor or as a single list.
- "Smoke It" button lets you easily decrease your cigar count when you smoke one.
